Growing up in Buena Vista, Colorado surrounded by a family of custom home builders I am no stranger to the process of building a project from conception to completion. Recognizing my draw to architecture and design I attended the University of Wyoming and earned a degree in Architectural Engineering. After graduating I quickly learned that the engineering industry can often feel too cold and calculated. Being a life-long ‘people-person’ I recognized there is a better way and The Engineering Loft was born. I am a passionate and driven engineer with a wide range of experience working with homeowners, architects and contractors but mostly I recognize that this business is about more than drawings and calculations. It’s about people, their homes, their families and their businesses. I am a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado. I love the Rocky Mountains and I can’t wait to help you build your dream!
I grew up in Aurora, Colorado, and was always on the go playing soccer. It eventually led me to the opportunity to play Division 1 women’s soccer at the University of Wyoming. While attending college, I had no clue what career path I wanted to follow, as the only career I ever knew was soccer. However, I did know that I always had a yearning passion towards design and often excelled in math and science. Taking this into consideration, I ended up earning my degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structures. As graduation approached, a UW professor, who knew I loved residential design, connected me with Christina. After meeting with Christina, I realized we shared not only a similar drive for engineering, but also aligned values. This connection led me to begin working at the Engineering Loft soon after graduation. And now, I am so excited to contribute to the innovative designs we create that ensures your home has unparalleled craftmanship.
